How to Change Report Delimiters

Forensic Email Collector exports numerous reports as delimited text files. These reports include lists of downloaded items, acquired item metadata, and Google Drive items where applicable.

The reports can be exported in TSV, CSV, and DAT format. You can switch between the formats as follows:

1. Go to the preferences page in FEC by clicking on the gear menu item:

2. Choose the delimiter option you prefer from the Report Format drop-down list:

Tip: Do you need the reports in multiple formats? You can change the report format in FEC, re-open a previous project and click the "Export Reports" button. This will cause the reports to be re-exported in the format you chose.
